On the course
What the round feels like
Designed in 1971, North is shorter than South but still rewards thoughtful play. Its mixture of palms, lakes and barrancos gives the round a distinctive setting, with generous greens contrasting with more confined landing areas
Position before power
Narrower fairways encourage you to think about where your next shot will come from
Room around the flag
Larger greens provide a different challenge from the tee shots, with distance control becoming part of the round
