Website Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how 19th Hole Escapes Ltd ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on www.19th-hole-escapes.co.uk (the "Website"). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. The old .com website is separate.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites work, remember user preferences, improve performance and measure how the site is used. Similar technologies can include pixels, local storage and tags.
The categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies – these are required for core website functions such as security, load balancing, form submission, fraud prevention, session management and remembering your privacy choices. These do not require consent where they are genuinely necessary for the service requested.
Analytics cookies – these help us understand how visitors use the Website so we can improve content and user experience. We will only use non-essential analytics cookies where required consent has been obtained.
Functionality cookies – these remember choices such as language, region or interface preferences, where enabled.
Marketing cookies – these may be used to measure campaign performance or tailor advertising. We will only use these where you have given consent.
Consent and control
The current .co.uk website does not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies. Our first-party traffic collector respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Team-login cookies are set only when someone requests or completes team sign-in. You can remove these through your browser, or use Sign out to end a team session. If optional cookie-based services are introduced, this notice and the controls will be updated before those services are activated.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies may be placed by third-party services integrated into the Website, such as analytics providers, video players, payment processors, chat providers or advertising platforms. Where these are non-essential, they will only be activated after consent. Third-party providers may separately process personal data under their own privacy notices.
Cookie list
The team dashboard uses these first-party cookies, checked on 9 October 2026:
- __Host-nineteenth-team-challenge — binds a requested one-time code to the browser that requested it; expires after 10 minutes.
- __Host-nineteenth-team — keeps an approved team member signed in; expires after 12 hours or is cleared on sign-out.
Both are secure, HTTP-only authentication cookies. Public visitors do not receive them unless they request team access. Our aggregate traffic collector and Cloudflare Web Analytics do not set analytics cookies or use persistent visitor identifiers. Cloudflare Turnstile protects the enquiry and signup forms against abuse; its browser checks are separate from analytics.
How to manage cookies in your browser
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through browser settings. However, if you disable strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Website may not function correctly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. The latest version will always be published on the Website with the effective date shown below.
